Pastel on Colourfix paper

Sometimes I don’t have to travel far to meet my chosen subjects and in this case I was living in very cramped rented accommodation behind my then shopfront gallery and it seemed very appropriate to paint one of my goldfish in a fragile glass bowl. Now before anyone gets angry I only put him in the bowl for a couple of minutes and then placed him back with his friends in their large outdoor pond.
