Offical Artist in Residence for World Landcare Conference
Steve Morvell has recieved another strong vote of confidence in his art of the wild by being invited as Official Artist in Residence at the World Landcare Conference to be held in Melbourne Australia in October this year.
Steve has worked tirelessly for the environment for 25 years, aligning himself with many strong environment groups in his efforts to raise awareness of wildlife and ecological issues
His strong track record based on real field experience and his amazing ability to simultaneously create dazzling artwork and chat with people has come to the attention of the organising committee for the World Landcare Conference. Steve was not only invited to set up his easel in the main foyer and create an artwork over the 5 days of the conference.... he was also invited to deliver a paper to the conference on how an environmental artist relates to the natural world.
The keynote speaker at the last World Landcare Conference was David Suzuki so Steve's work will come to the attention of 1200 of the most influential envirnmental experts from around the globe. Each of the delegates will also take home a commemorative limited edition print signed and numbered by Steve.
