'Taking the time - Eastern grey kangaroo'
Charcoal engraving on board
70 x 43cm
'Life in the Grampians National Park isn't all hard work you know......some of us have to rest occasionally.....heheheheee. Even in my lovely 100 year old home at Halls Gap we have regular work breaks. This pic is one of the staff on his lunch break....lol. Ok so he isn't really paid but wild Eastern grey kangaroos regularly stop off in our back paddock for a rest and some quiet time nibbling the grass. I have taken down the back fence so they can come and go freely. This youngish male is having a well earned rest and enjoying the peaceful surrounds. He was quite happy for me to sit 5 metres away and enjoy his company.'
