‘Humble sparrow’

Sometimes we tend to overlook the common in pursuit of the exotic. But when I look at the common house sparrow I see a bird which lives well all around the world in widely differing situations. There is no denying his versatility and resilience. Humble though he may be, I do admire this little fellow.
