Giant pandas live mostly solitary lives, and the young very rarely have a chance for interactions with others of their age group. However in several Giant panda breeding centres in Western China one can see teenage pandas at play....something they actually throw themselves into with great gusto and good humour. It is not unusual to see 4 or 5 little pandas in a tumbling, sqeaking wrestling ball of black and white fur.
